Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using SubReel ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These terms form a binding agreement between you and SubReel.

2. Your content

You retain full ownership of all videos, audio, and content you upload. By uploading, you grant SubReel a limited, non-exclusive licence to process and store your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not use your content to train AI models or share it with third parties beyond what is necessary to operate SubReel.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content. You must not upload content that infringes third-party copyrights, contains illegal material, or violates any applicable law.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service or its infrastructure.
• Share or resell access to your account.
• Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable local, national, or international law.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

4. Plans, quotas & features

SubReel offers the following plans. Limits apply per calendar month and reset on your billing date:

Exports on the Free plan include a SubReel watermark. Paid plans remove the watermark. Once your monthly video quota is reached, new uploads are paused until the next billing cycle.

5. Video storage & automatic deletion

Videos and exports are automatically and permanently deleted after the retention period for your plan (see table above). You may delete any video manually at any time from the dashboard. We are not responsible for content lost due to expiry or accidental deletion. We recommend keeping your own copy of any important exports.

6. Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

• Cancellation: you may cancel at any time from your billing dashboard. Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period, after which you move to the Free plan.
• Downgrades: plan downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep your current plan features until then.
• Upgrades: plan upgrades take effect immediately. You will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing period.
• Refunds: we do not offer refunds for partial months or unused quota. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us at billing@subreel.cc.

7. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Planned maintenance and unexpected outages may occur. We are not liable for losses resulting from downtime, service interruptions, or data loss beyond what is required by applicable law.

8. Intellectual property

The SubReel name, logo, and interface are our intellectual property. You may not reproduce or use them without our written permission. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of our IP to you.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SubReel is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of content, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Greece and the European Union. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Greece.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of SubReel after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
